Welcome to the unofficial database of birds ringed by Norman Van Swelm

Note: In order to add recoveries, your browser has to accept cookies. That means it will not work if your internet security-level is too high.

Before adding new recovery, be sure it is indeed a Norman Van Swelm 's bird. If you are not, check this out on Dirk Raes' website: http://www.cr-birding.be where you will found almost all the coulour-ringing programs of European birds.

Please continue to send your sightings directly to Norman Van Swelm. The aim of this website is only to build the life-histories because Norman rarely sends the life-histories of the observed birds. The species are Lesser Black-backed Gull, Greater Black-backed Gull, Herring Gull, Yellow-legged Gull and sometimes hybrids. They are ringed in Rotterdam (Netherlands).

To report a coulour-ringed bird on this website, please log in and then click on "Add new recoveries" and fill in the fields. If you have a lot of (old) observations, you can download and fill in this file(open with Excel for example) and send me back the filled file. If you already have such a file, it would be nice you adapt it in order it looks like the example I give (it will be easier to do the "data-mining").

Thanks !
